Mason first climbed into a kart in April 2022 attending a test session at Millbridge Speedway in Salisbury, NC.  What started as a fun outing quickly turned into a passion, and after just one try he convinced Mom and Dad to buy a kart.  With no racing background or family history in the sport, his parents were simply out there to enjoy the experience – while Mason has bigger goals.  He wanted to win.

He began in the Cadet division and wasted no time making his mark, earning his first victory in only his third start.  Three more wins soon followed, which required him to move up into the Beginner Box Stock division.

By 2024 – only his second full season in Beginner Box Stock – Mason ran an impressive 33 feature races at Millbridge Speedway.  He collected 5 wins, 22 top-fives, and 31 top-tens, showcasing remarkable consistency.  That effort paid off with both the Tuesday and Saturday Beginner Box Stock track championships, a rare sweep that few drivers at Millbridge have ever accomplished.

In 2025, Mason took on his next challenge – the highly competitive Box Stock division.  The family expected to focus on learning and simply making A-features, but Mason once again set his sights higher.  After just 17 races into this year’s season, he has already secured 5 feature wins – including a streak of four in a row.

With no racing lineage behind him, Mason continues to prove that hard work, determination, and talent can carry him to the front.
